When it was released in 2011, Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as is well known, played a gold role in role-playing games in the open world. It had plenty of transmission lines, more than a fraction of factions, and so much to do that you couldn’t get bored. Bethesda has not yet announced a new single-player in The Elder Scrolls, but it has brought Skyrim back through the remaster. But now we live in a post-Witcher 3 world where expectations for role-playing games have changed dramatically. Will Skyrim Special Edition be included?
Skyrim Special Edition includes updated art and effects, spacious divine rays, dynamic depth of field and counter support – allowing users to upload their own content to the gaming world. It also has three base game add-ons: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn DLC. It also comes to a record with all the flaws in the original game.

Yes, some half a decade of the many editions reached this edition of the game. The characters literally merge at the tables instead of sitting in chairs, and the whole parts of the dialogue sometimes freeze, so the lack of brightness is obvious. After using the 636.1 MB tag, this is a patch that, according to the notes, brings “general optimizations” for playback. It may be forgiven for the new game, but you might think that these problems will be solved in five years.
Unfortunately, the graphics in the game also show the same biased approach. Outside, the Skyrim Special Edition is breathtaking. Snowy peaks and vast meadows are wonderful to watch. Daily changes are smoother than in other open games, and weather effects from rain to snow and sunlight increase immersion. But when you’re indoors, especially in the game’s many dungeons or caves, it doesn’t show the same visual loyalty. The difference between the two is so great that you think you’re playing two different games.

Another problem that does not compress is the frame rate. While it remained mostly stable, there was a small or two delay in the game’s murder animations. In this regard, the menus are not as accessible as they should be, and while Skyrim’s inventory management is simple enough to use, we wonder what prevented Bethesda from seeing what weapons and armor you could be a warrior during this time.
And before you ask, yes, the game still cheats royally with loading the screen. Whether you enter a house, a cave, a palace, or a company, no matter what structure you eat or leave, you will be greeted by a charging screen. It’s tolerable in Fallout 4 mode – what about a newer version of Creation Engine and the like – but the old game would seem to have some advantages over better console hardware that could be used.
But once you’ve skipped all these adjustments, the adventure is as much fun as it gets. The scope and range of tasks offered remain pleasant. They can cause romantic disagreements between a couple of eleven people, a vampire clan that terrorizes the village, becomes an apostate or intoxicated and is transported to a temple on the other side of the world. There’s a lot you can do in Skyrim Special Edition, and not everything is tied to the main task. You could inspect the house just to meet the Lord of the underworld, one of Skyrim’s many factions will greet you by committing a crime, or if you prefer, spend time catching butterflies.
As for the main mission, here’s the short and thin: You are an unnamed prisoner fleeing from death thanks to the dragon’s timely intervention that destroys your oppression and everything else that is their way. You will soon find that you can soak up the souls of these animals and learn to shout – magic that will make you move faster or use your voice to push enemies off the rocks. In addition, you have the usual addition of magic, theft, and combat options.
